A bravura performance by Callum Hudson-Odoi, who scored one goal and made a second as Chelsea cruised past Nottingham Forest in their FA Cup 3rd round tie on Sunday, means the Blues are in the 4th round, with a trip to Hull City.

The lively teenaged midfielder only needed six minutes to score, cutting in from the right and shooting into the bottom corner of the Forest net.

The Championship side were awarded a penalty, but it was ruled out by VAR – a system once condemned by Frank Lampard, but now quietly accepted as more recent decisions have gone the Blues’ way, rather than against.

The second goal came after Hudson-Odoi’s shot was parried, and the forgotten man of Stamford Bridge – playing with a real determination not to be left out on a permanent basis – Ross Barkley scoring from close range.

The Blues, eight-times winners of the FA Cup, travel to Hull on January 25.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is no doubt one of the current top Chelsea players. It’s a shame that injuries have hindered and reduced his playtime in Football this season. I hope he recovers on time from the Corona Virus which he was tested Positive for. The article has really gotten my interest. I am going to bookmark your blog and keep checking for new details every week.
