Bus passengers’ journeys were cut short earlier today (Friday) after their ride broke down outside Sainsbury’s in Victoria Road, Surbiton.

The London United RATP Group single decker was put up on concrete slabs and attached to a heavy recovery service truck before being towed back to Fulwell Bus Garage for some TLC.

“This is the second one I’ve had today,” said the breakdown driver as he hooked up his vehicle to the stranded bus.
