Love is in the air, literally. A giant heart looms over Tolworth Broadway from the 22-storey tower while further up Ewell Road at the King Charles Road triangle, the Tolworth Yatai, a Japanese processional shed (pictured below), has also got into the spirit of St Valentine’s Day, proudly displaying a love heart on its front.

Love from Tolworth is all part of The Community Brain’s SHEDx regeneration project.

Its driving force, Robin Hutchinson, said: “We would like to thank the Tolworth councillors for their support for the SHEDx – Growing Ideas in Tolworth project.

“They have helped when we needed help, supported when we needed support and allowed things to happen by finding the ways around things when required. We are grateful – Love from Tolworth.”
