Whole Lotta Comedy is back tonight (Wednesday) at The Berrylands.

The pub in Chiltern Drive, near Berrylands railway station, is hosting a series of comedy nights on a Wednesday throughout August starting at 8pm.

On the bill this evening are Sam Dutton, Stella Graham (pictured left), Mark Beynon, Leigh White, Jake Duthie, Luke Chilton (pictured above), Mara Mainka, Darran Griffiths and compere and organiser Elaine Blackmore.

“I’m really excited about the comedians joining us throughout August,” said Elaine whose stand-up comedy nights were proving a big hit at the pub before lockdown, and whose first comedy night back in the pub garden last Friday drew an 80-strong crowd.

“Whole Lotta Comedy is a comedy club offering opportunities to comedians of all levels. People seem to like the rawness and are just ready for a laugh.”

You can also grab a bite to eat while you are there. The pub is taking part in the government’s subsidised scheme to fund diners with a 50 per cent discount on their bill up to the value of £10 (without alcohol) on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night until the end of the month.

“The Berrylands is also part of the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme, making it a great night out to suit everyone’s pocket,” added Elaine.
