Tolworth Recreation Centre has reopened to the public.

All customers will need to pre-book their visit to the Fullers Way North sports venue through the Places Locker app or via www.placesleisure.org

The borough’s leisure facilities were originally closed on March 18 due to COVID-19 restrictions, and work has been ongoing to ensure residents can return safely since the Government announced leisure centres and gyms could be reopened at the end of July.

Berrylands councillor John Sweeney, portfolio holder for business and leisure, said: “I know that many have been frustrated by the delay. I thank them for their patience and look forward to welcoming them back.”
