Bring out the tinsel and start pulling the crackers. There will be a festive feel to tomorrow’s First in Tolworth market. Mulled wine will be served and stalls will have a Christmas theme with plenty of high quality gifts to buy made by local crafters and creatives.
The arts, crafts and food market on Sunday, December 6 from 11am to 3pm will take place in the slip road off Ewell Road, opposite Our Lady Immaculate Church in Tolworth.
Charlotte Levy of SHEDx, the regeneration project which organises the market, said: “We will be bringing you an exciting range of craft and food stalls with lots of fantastic local traders. Come along and support local businesses through this challenging time.”
Hand sanitiser stations will be available throughout the market and face masks are encouraged but not mandatory.
A Christmas tree at the junction of Princes Avenue, supplied by Gardenia of London with lights courtesy of St George’s Church, and decorated by Santa’s little elves from the SHEDx team will add sparkle to the event.
