Westfield Road in Surbiton is being turned into a picturesque Advent calendar.

Each day leading up to Christmas Day itself a new window of a home is decorated in the river road (first two pics).

“We have got 24 volunteers from the road to dress up their windows in the form of an eye-catching advent calendar each day in December up to 24^th,” said Westfield Road resident Claire Jackson. “By the 24th day we will have a complete advent calendar of 24 window photos in one montage.”

Residents in Ellerton (next two pics), Douglas and Worthington Roads have had the same idea. They have also produced a map of the area to indicate where the advent windows are (last pic).
