Twilight, an exhibition by Surbiton fine art artist Anthony Maccini, can be viewed in an online video at the cornerHOUSE arts centre.

The exhibition showing Anthony’s black and white oil-on-canvas paintings depicting symbolic ideas, places and people, had been scheduled to run at the Douglas Road arts centre until February 21 with a Meet the Artist event tonight (Tuesday), but has had to move to the arts centre’s website instead because of the current lockdown.

Anthony developed his iconographic style at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London.

The paintings evoke a twilight atmosphere and mood that changes due to the effect of light from day to night.
