Join an online pow-wow to discuss local business opportunities around the growth of the green economy tomorrow (Tuesday).
Berrylands lecturer, author and consultant in international retail Virginia Grose is one of the speakers in three, facilitated, round-table discussions by industry professionals.
Virginia, who is also the course director of Fashion Business Management at the University of Westminster, will represent the retail industry in the hospitality, retail, arts, culture and leisure group.
Other break-out discussions will centre on the built environment: construction, energy and transport; and business and professional services and manufacturing and technology.
“These discussions will also offer an opportunity for businesses to tell us what type of support they need from us to take advantage of the opportunities created and innovate, become more efficient, invest and grow while becoming greener,” said Ioanna Rossi, strategy and partnerships officer at Kingston Council.
The council, in partnership with Kingston Chamber of Commerce, has organised the Business Growth Opportunities from the Green Economy event which starts at 10.30am and runs until 12.30pm.
