Looking for a job? Then join a virtual jobs fair. Delivered by Kingston-based industry experts the online fair is open to all and will cover a variety of subjects and sectors, including creating CVs and job searching, health and social care, careers in education, digital and creative industries, construction, green technology and ICT, starting your own business, hospitality and customer service, wellbeing and resilience, online opportunities and more.

Each session will provide potential employees with a list of current job vacancies in their sector of interest, advice from employers who are looking to recruit, and training, apprenticeships or reskilling options for those who are considering a change of career.

The virtual Kingston Jobs and Training Fair on Wednesday, June 23, is being run by Kingston Council in collaboration with Kingston College, part of the South Thames Colleges Group.

You can access the online jobs fair at home or at several centres around the borough. More information about these, the event itself and how to sign up at www.stcg.ac.uk/kingston-jobs-and-training-fair

Peter Mayhew-Smith, principal of the college group, said: “This is a terrific chance to learn about a whole range of jobs vital to our part of London, meet major employers and check out the jobs available right now as well as find out about the skills and knowledge you can learn along the way.

“We’d urge everyone thinking about their next steps to come and be part of this day. There’s so much to be positive about right now and we’re going to be there to make that a reality on 23 June.”
