Congratulations to Tolworth’s Zoe Mendelson, 20, who has scooped the Best Editing accolade in the Kingston Film Festival’s 2021 awards event in the beer garden at the Spring Grove.

Zoe’s skills creating her film Radar Man, about the life of her granddad Dennis who died from Covid-19 last year, impressed the judges.

Talented 17-year-old Luke Whatley-Bigg’s beautifully shot documentary about Kingston town centre was also given a screening at the festival. Luke was 15 at the time he completed the project using drones. The documentary can be seen here at www.youtube.com/watch?v=kn-kx2ihLQY
