Surbiton cab firm Zedcarz has left its premises at 118 Ewell Road, next to the Surbitonian Grind, and aims to reopen at 140 Tolworth Broadway, across the road from the tower.

“It was quite sudden,” admitted one staff member.

With the firm’s signs removed from the old office, the distinctive curved glass frontage now reveals the ghost of its previous incarnation, Spa Fabulous beauty salon, once run by Neena Trehan.
