Getting into the platinum jubilee spirit are two pillar boxes in Elmbridge Avenue, Berrylands, wearing fabulous crocheted crowns courtesy of the very talented Carol Gwilliams.

Carol, of Elmbridge Avenue, who taught herself to crochet three years ago, has also created tops at Easter for the pillar boxes at the corner of Grand Avenue and Elgar Avenue with a nest containing yellow and blue chicks, and – before that, continuing the tribute to Ukraine theme – a yellow and blue love heart.
