Corinthian-Casuals will host a four-team football competition with semi pro and amateur clubs from the USA, Hungary and England at their United Business Group Stadium in Tolworth this weekend.

The Egri Erbstein Tournament at the club’s home ground in King George’s Field, will consist of four games: two semi-finals on Sat July 23 (Corinthian-Casuals v Fall River Marksmen followed by Budapesti Atletikai Klub (BAK) v Sheffield FC), then a third-place play-off and the final on Sun July 24, with matches to kick-off at noon and 4pm on both days.

Tickets are available for the whole weekend, or for individual days. The clubhouse bar will be open and there will be a range of local street food available.

Visit egrierbstein.org for more information on the tournament and how to get your tickets.

The bi-annual invitational event – named after the great footballing pioneer, Torino manager, and Holocaust survivor Ernő Egri Erbstein – Corinthian-Casuals are the current trophy holders – celebrates the power of football to cross borders and unite people from all backgrounds around a shared sporting ethos and the noble traditions of fair play, which are still recognised today as The Corinthian Spirit.
