Has there ever been a more uncertain (yet exciting and intriguing) time to be a teenager?
Kingston College is addressing the uncertainty with an open event, including a chance to look round the college buildings and learn more about post-16 education, apprenticeships, undergraduate studies, part-time and access courses.
It takes place on Thursday next week – February 27 – from 4.30 to 7pm.
Now part of the South Thames Colleges Group, the college – which draws dozens of its students from the Surbiton, Berrylands and Tolworth area – has been led for more than a decade by principal Peter Mayhew-Smith (pictured, left), who has steadily pushed it higher and higher up the Ofsted ratings.
Kingston College is in Kingston Hall Road, Kingston, KT1 2AQ. More info at Kingston-college.ac.uk or simply turn up to the open afternoon.
