An art school for children is running a competition for all ages celebrating Surbiton – and everything else starting with the letter S.

Various art prizes are up for grabs and the winner will scoop these soft pastels (pictured), a sketchbook and two hours of Skype tutorials.

Everyone is welcome to enter, you just need to live in the KT5/6/7 postcodes to qualify.

Ex-Kingston School of Art student Karen Dear who runs Surbiton’s Cygnets Art School teaching traditional art skills to six to 16-year-olds, said: “The competition is completely free to enter. All you need to do is create a picture that has something to do with a word beginning with S, snap a photo and send to us either via Instagram @cygnetsartschoolsurbiton or Facebook or even email [email protected]”

The closing date is July 1.
