Surbiton is about to have its first book festival. Regency Bookshop and the cornerHOUSE arts centre have joined forces to launch the Surbiton Literary Festival.

The two-day programme will feature bestselling crime novelists plus children’s author Alex Milway (that’s him in the main picture, behind his agent, sorry, dog).

 SIMON MASON introduces Sunday Times Crime Book of the Month A Killing in November. An unlikely duo from different sides of the tracks in Oxford, will come up against a deftly plotted murder mystery full of dangerous turns, troubled pasts and unconventional detective work.
