The young musicians of Kingston Music Service play a free concert at St Andrew’s church in Maple Road, tied in to Surbiton Farmers’ Market day.

It was in 2015 that Thames Concerts Artistic Director Ben Costello introduced admission-free market day morning concerts, running parallel to the main evening series of professional musician’s concerts.

The idea is to showcase the work of young local performers as well as allowing audiences to experience chamber music on a smaller scale.

Those involved are free to present a programme of their choosing from any musical style or genre.
