Mural Unveiling

These are exciting times for public art in Surbiton.
The first of a new series of art installations is to be formally unveiled on Sat, June 20, on the long side wall of The Elm Tree pub at the junction with the Sainsbury’s car park service road; a mural delivered in conjunction with the Surbiton Town Centre Partnership.
It’s the work of Nick Blaney, an abstract artist who goes by the street name Good Night Vienna.
Food, music and entertainment will start at 2pm, while the officially unveiling will take place during the afternoon.
There will also be an update on all Surbiton Town Centre Partnership’s projects in a display area inside the pub.
The Partnership’s aim is to promote Surbiton, improve its attractiveness, celebrate its local communities and encourage pride in the town.
