The Edith Gardens Nature Reserve in Tolworth – a cute size, a hidden treasure – is holding a conservation & rewilding day. The charity Citizen Zoo has been working at the council-owned reserve since 2018 and, with the help of volunteers, has given the site a new lease of life.

A site of local importance for nature conservation, it used to be overgrown but is now once again a thriving area with mixed habitats, including woodland, ponds, a mini-meadow and a bee bank.

Help continue to improve the site’s biodiversity, creating new habitats and allowing a living native hedgerow and wildlife ponds to thrive.

The entrance is at the tip of Edith Gardens road, just off of Raeburn Avenue. The K2 bus stops there, or it’s a 20-minute walk from Berrylands station. Book a free space on Eventbrite. Follow the link.
