Fancy starting your running career at an early age? Join the crowd of four to 14-year-olds in the weekly junior parkrun; two clockwise laps of Alexandra rec.

The event recently celebrated its 500th run, and had 226 finishers!

The first event took place at the ground off King Charles Road in August 2015.

It’s 2km, and is marshalled by 44 volunteers. Average finish time is just under 13 minutes. Start point is near the cricket pavilion.
