Think You Know the Area? Think Again.

Local historian and author Julian McCarthy, who regularly escorts guided history tours around Surbiton and Kingston, gives a second talk to the Kingston Society entitled More Things You Probably Might Not Know About Kingston.
The last talk he gave was well-received, with umpteen unusual and surprising facts relayed about the borough… including why Castle Street got its name, and where the castle can still be spotted!
It’s a 7pm for 7.30pm start in the Judge Lecture Theatre in Tiffin School, Kingston. Members free (it’s just £10 a year), or non-members can chip in a fiver on the night.
