With the Bayeux Tapestry in London on display, here’s a topical illustrated talk to members of (and visitors to) the Surbiton & District Historical Society.

Local historian Matthew Bowman will discuss the famous tapestry’s secrets and the subversive images it also contains.

The meeting, at the cornerHOUSE, starts at 7.30pm, with the bar open from 7pm.
