Looking to make a healthier start to the new decade? Be inspired by a well-being event at the Rose Theatre Kingston on Saturday (Jan 25).

Holistic practitioner Claire Morrissey, pictured, of Soul Butterfly in Hook Road, Surbiton, is running a Holistic Wellness Day at the theatre in High Street, Kingston, from 10am to 4pm.

Chat to one of the health and wellness practitioners or have a go at yoga, Pilates, tai chi or holistic motion.

Experience taster sessions for alternative therapies such as reflexology, Swedish massage, cranio sacral therapy and reiki (Soul Butterfly), or join workshops for meditation, understanding pain, mindfulness through art, rebalancing your hormones and losing weight, and using essential oils with your family and for medicinal purposes (run by co-organiser Essential Oil Community).

There will also be local businesses selling natural, organic and sustainable gifts.
