Chef Raymond Fulton-Corrie served a succulent leg of pork (pictured) covered with crunchy crackling, to staff at the newly refurbished (inside and out) Grove pub for them to sample ahead of its Host The Roast menu launch.
The pub in Grove Road, Surbiton, will be serving roast dinners with fresh veg and all the trimmings from Sunday, February 2. Also on the menu will be joints of beef and roast chicken, and further down the line côte de boeuf and rack of lamb.
“It’s like you would get at home but without having to slave over a hot stove to produce it – or having the hassle of shopping for it or doing the washing up afterwards,” said general manager Kerry Pringle. “It’s all about sharing with family and friends. You will be hosting it. You can carve the joint at the table or if you prefer we will do it for you.”
Large parties can order a choice of roasts.
Order by 9pm on the Thursday for a slap-up meal on the Sunday.
