The world is getting warmer, snowlines and ice caps are retreating, sea levels are rising and natural habitats are changing. Terezie Wickenden will be talking about the devastating effects of climate change and raising money for the World Land Trust with a piano recital at St Andrew’s Church in Maple Road on Saturday (Feb 1).

Terezie Wickenden will be talking about the devastating effects of climate change and raising money for the World Land Trust with a piano recital at St Andrew’s Church in Maple Road on Saturday (Feb 1).

Enjoy a cup of tea and cake and hear about the charity’s mission to buy land to protect tropical rainforests and other threatened habitats.

Patrons of the WLT include Sir David Attenborough and naturalist Chris Packham.

On the programme, which starts at 2.30pm, will be Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Haydn, and Glass among others. Tickets £5 on the door.
