Chelsea Women’s FA Cup 5th round clash with Liverpool Women will be screened live by the BBC.
It will guarantee an even bigger audience than the 4,000+ expected to watch the match live at goal-crazy Kingsmeadow on Sunday February 16.
The match has been brought forward from 2pm to 12.30pm, and will be live on the BBC iPlayer, BBC Red Button and on the FA’s own FA Player.
The announcement comes after a recent commitment by both the BBC and the FA to show a Women’s FA Cup fixture live from the 4th Round through to the final, for the first time in the competition’s history.
Tickets are currently on sale for the Blues’ next home game, on Wednesday February 12 against Birmingham City (7pm kick-off) and for Chelsea v Liverpool in the FA Cup.
Tickets are already on sale for the Conti Cup Final in Nottingham, between Chelsea and Arsenal on Saturday February 29 at 5.30pm, and for this year’s Women’s FA Cup Final at Wembley on Saturday May 9 via https://ticketing.thefa.com/ where up to two children per booking can go free of charge when a £15 adult ticket is purchased. There are also discounts for group tickets.
