When we eventually emerge from coronavirus lockdown, add Kingston Uni’s new Town House library – open to all – to your list of places to visit.
It boasts endless bound copies of the kind of magazine usually featured as guest publications on Have I Got News For You.
Many of the titles have ‘Kingston Polytechnic’ stamped inside them, harking back to an earlier incarnation of the uni.
There’s the Journal of the Geological Society of India (I’m guessing it really rocks).
The Permanent Way Institution’s magazine is also a rattling good read, as is the Journal of Volcanology.
Any could easily feature in the quiz show’s guest slot.
But for topicality, nothing beats The Journal of Tissue Viability, which presumably refers to how long you can keep an old Kleenex in your pocket during the pandemic before it becomes an embarrassment.
