Ginger Bees Café along the Queens Promenade off Portsmouth Road is one of the venues taking part in the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
Starting today (Monday) and running until the end of the month, it entitles each person to 50 per cent off their bill (excluding alcohol) up to the value of £10 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The café, which is in a lovely sunny spot overlooking the Thames, has tables and chairs outside on the riverbank for customers.
Opening hours are 10am to 5pm. The café is closed on Wednesdays.
