Stuck for something to keep the kids occupied? Solved! Katy’s Drama Club workshops are back at the cornerHOUSE!
Katy Huckfield’s workshops at the arts centre in Surbiton this week are full, but there are still a few places left for her sessions on Thursday, 27 and Friday 28 August.
“Join us for some live, face-to-face (Covid-secure!) summer-themed holiday workshops for all primary school aged children,” said Katy who provides, regular school classes, holiday workshops and themed drama parties for children in the Surbiton area.
Groups will be kept extra small and all games will be non-contact but heaps of fun, said the experienced drama teacher.
“We aim to stir the pot of creativity for all children and nurture their self confidence, emotional literacy and imaginations.
“We will have sole use of the venue, with plenty of space for a small group to find a new normal together.”
Children will be provided with sealed craft packs on the day to make at the end of the workshop and bring home with them. Each workshop will have a different craft and theme.
“We will ensure all materials used have been cleaned and quarantined prior to use!” added Katy.
The workshops run from 10am to 1pm and cost £25 per child, payable in advance.
