Improve your writing skills with playwright Susannah Finzi.

Suzannah is leading a four-part workshop for budding and established playwrights at the cornerHOUSE in Surbiton on four consecutive Mondays from 7-9.30pm starting next week on October 11.

“This is not a ‘how to write’ course,” said Susannah who writes for stage and screen. “My view is there is no manual – and certainly no silver bullet – for writing well, but there are a few baselines we all need reminding of. Write It… And Then Write It Better explores some specific actions that I and other writers use in developing our scripts.”

Scenes will be developed eventually culminating in read-throughs on the art centre’s stage.

“Expect to do some writing and redrafting between sessions, some reading out loud and to give and receive constructive feedback,” added Susannah.
