Meet artist Peter Fodor at a special event to launch his Where Dark Meets Light exhibition which runs at the cornerHOUSE until November 7.

The Hungarian-born artist will be talking about his work at the Meet the Artist night at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton, on Tuesday next week (October 19) from 7-9pm.

The exhibition shows off his range of talent and styles across different subjects from cityscapes, coastal towns, landscapes and portraiture.

A PE teacher and former boxer, Peter, who grew up in Budapest, became interested in drawing from a young age. Now, in his paintings, he attempts to convey the atmosphere of a scene and the reflection of light on different surfaces, with simple mark making.
