Gruffalo creators Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s The Smeds and the Smoos has its world premiere tomorrow at Kingston’s Rose Theatre, playing for five days before setting off on a UK tour.

Based on the Children’s Book of the Year, the tale of two star-crossed aliens on a far-off planet was developed by Tall Stories and is directed by Toby Mitchell.
