Crafts, books, jewellery, felt fairies, candles hand-poured into salvaged glass and zero plastic party supplies are just some of the things you will be able to buy at Planet Warriors’ sustainable shopping event at Tolworth Recreation Centre tomorrow (Saturday).
The family-friendly market from 11am to 4pm, has been curated by Long Ditton’s Laura Pring, pictured, who runs Planet Warriors.
There is no entry fee and Laura said she is on a mission to give families the opportunity to shop sustainably under one roof as well as having fun.
“Our events are family-focused – with entertainment for the kids, a soft play area, refreshments, a food truck, and interesting products for the whole family to enjoy and shop for,” she told The Good Life. “It’s that weekend activity every family looks for to entertain the kids while doing some sustainable shopping.”
