Megan’s restaurant has introduced a new twist to its menu with the launch of Fondue Fridays at the Surbiton restaurant in the old post office building opposite Sainsbury’s.

New festive flavours have been added to the straightforward ‘original’ fondue, and the deal is for a shared fondue, plus dipping bread, plus bottle of house wine (a red or white Portuguese) for £25.

It’s available every Friday from 5pm. The three new variations of fondue are Cheese and Onion (with a good sprinkling of caramelised onions mixed in), Crispy (with bacon bits) and Spicy (pepped up with chilli flakes). Plus there’s a festive Pigs in Blankets fondue version for Christmas.

If you’re just after a light meal deal in the evening, it fits the bill. Or you can add other dishes, including a plateful of pigs in blankets, to turn it into a full meal.

The restaurant at 38 Victoria Road is open 8am-10pm, with extensions on Fri and Sat, and 9am-6pm hours on Sundays.
