Ex-Chelsea captain John Terry will have a major say in whether the Blues’ west London rivals Fulham reach the Premier League in the play-offs.

He was part of the Aston Villa defence which held Middlesbrough at bay last night to set up the £100million decider at Wembley on the Champions League final day, Saturday May 26.

JT still wears 26, and will see it as a positive omen.

He is something of a hate figure at the other London clubs – notably QPR, but also at Fulham – and is likely to be booed every time he touches the ball.

Fulham got to the critical Wembley play-off by beating Derby.
