Professor Kayoss will be entertaining children in a Mongolian Yurt on Sunday.

The Tolworth-based professor (aka Des Kay) will be performing to crowds as part of Kingston Arts Festival’s Green Zone event.

Other activities in the tent on the field in Wheatfield Way next to Kingston Museum include yoga with Joanna Blundell, readings from local author Tina Talbot from her eco-themed, nature-inspired children’s books, and a talk by Kingston Pound’s Andrew Connolly on the benefits of a local currency.

There will also be workshops for children throughout the day until 3pm, eco-friendly stalls, a bike repairing service, and home-baked goodies and refreshments supplied by Long Ditton-based Doorstep Coffee from Olive, their vintage, green Peugeot van.

A Climate KAOS Art Exhibition will also be on show at nearby Kingston Museum.

The event will be opened by the mayor, Berrylands ward councillor Sushila Abraham, at 11am.
